Equality & Diversity

The University of Wales at Newport have just launched a series of Equality & Diversity e-training toolkits. The toolkits are designed to provide front-line service sector workers with knowledge & guidance to ensure equal opportunity in organisation client-centred service delivery.

These eTraining toolkits take a fresh approach to Equality & Diversity (E&D) guidance. Working with experts in the field, E&D topic approaches are used to explore many of the barriers people face in education, service and employment settings.

Topics covered are:

• Age diversity
• Racial equality
• Homelessness awareness
• Disability equality

The toolkits support personalised delivery approaches which allow the user to pause, stop and return to the guidance. They can also be used to enrich traditional group face to face Equality and Diversity training through blended learning approaches.
