alas John Stewart is gone on the wind....i am reminded of the wee story of when the Monkees producer Chip Douglas called John to say the the record company didn't like the second verse of Daydream Believer and could the change it?
They didnt like the line "now you know how funky i can be" and suggest changing it to happy much to john's distaste.
5 weeks later its number one all over the world and john calls Chip to say happy is working real good
