Article in February's Library & Information Update on the difficulties faced in teaching valid information retrieval skills for FE students. OK, so nothing new but highlights the difficulties in a large college with a healthy complement of staff.
In the same issue Christine Irving & John Crawford discuss an innovative national pilot project at Glasgow Caledonian University - Information literacy skills - the link between secondary and tertiary education. Well worth a look.
